The great site MusicTAP asked their readers to send in a list of those albums that they consider "perfect," the ones that you can put in the player (or on the turntable or run off your iPod or stream) that can be played from the beginning to end without one bad track. No filler. Nothing to skip.

Vacation, also opened in 2009 by a few folks at the mighty Hydrahead Records and some well informed music retail veterans. I have to say that this is one of the best looking stores I have ever been in, everything is clean and well organized and modern, in fact they could probably serve sushi in here if they wanted to. The staff is also friendly and helpful. The store is geared a bit more towards the loud side of things which compliments the Los Angeles record shopping experience well.
